Η δύσκολη συναρμολόγηση επίπλων της ΙΚΕΑ φτάνει σιγά σιγά στο τέλος της. Δεν θα χρειάζεται πια να σπάμε το κεφάλι μας πάνω από δεκάδες βίδες και εργαλεία συναρμολόγησης.
Η εταιρεία ανέπτυξε ένα νέο είδος «σφήνας», που θα δίνει τη δυνατότητα στον χρήστη να τοποθετεί τα κομμάτια των ξύλινων επίπλων εύκολα και γρήγορα χωρίς καν εργαλεία.
Ο λόγος ήταν τα παράπονα των καταναλωτών προς την εταιρεία, για τον βαθμό δυσκολίας καθώς και τον χρόνο συναρμολόγησης. Με τον τρόπο αυτό η ΙΚΕΑ δεν θα κατασκευάζει μεταλλικά εργαλεία και βίδες με αποτέλεσμα το κόστος των επίπλων να είναι λίγο πιο χαμηλό!
The puzzling ritual of assembling IKEA furniture is about to become a thing of the past. The brand’s new furniture will snap together, requiring neither tools nor countless efforts of putting pieces together.
IKEA has introduced the «wedge dowel», a new type of joint developed to make the assembly of wooden products much easier and quicker, that also does away with the need of extra metal fittings and tools.
This innovation was inspired by consumer resistance to the frustrating and often slow endeavor of putting together IKEA furniture. This was also a way for the company to save resources by eliminating the need for screws, bolts and allen keys, thus making its new no-assembly range more affordable!
